Resumen


La tecnología ha incursionado de manera significativa en los procesos de intervención terapéutica especialmente en pacientes con alteraciones de origen neurológico, actualmente la evidencia respalda que el entrenamiento con sistemas de realidad virtual (RV) puede inducir diversos mecanismos de plasticidad neuronal, facilitando la recuperación funcional, incluso 12 meses después de la lesión. Actualmente esto retoma vital importancia ya que la Pandemia por el Covid-19 ha obligado a implementar acciones de teleorientación y Telemedicina (sincrónica o asincrónica) con el fin de realizar los procesos de rehabilitación reduciendo el riesgo de contagio y facilitando el acceso a muchas personas. Además, tiene como ventaja ofrecer un medio particular en el que la terapia se realiza en un contexto funcional, útil, novedoso y motivador. Se posibilita además adaptar más y mejores actividades terapéuticas a la necesidad y condición física, temporal y espacial de los usuarios. Las opciones de graduar intensidad, duración y complejidad de las actividades permiten mantener la motivación e incluso vincular la familia. Al interior del programa se han realizado dos revisiones de literatura inicialmente con el fin de conocer las características y aplicaciones del test de Wolf (WMFT) que fue diseñado para examinar el movimiento voluntario del miembro superior; involucra valoración de tareas funcionales cronometradas, medidas de fuerza y análisis de la calidad del movimiento, por lo que se convirtió en poco de atención para trabajo en semillero. En éste escrito se recoge la experiencia de trabajo con éste instrumento.
